Community Programs

There are many pressures on both children and parents in today’s hurried society. Our community workshops are tailored to meet individual groups’ needs and can be run for groups of parents at schools, preschools and kindergartens as well as child care centres. Within these workshops parents will be presented with strategies and skills they can teach their children to help them develop positive emotional wellbeing, build resilience, confidence and self esteem, and cope with fears, anxiety and worry.

Workshop Topics:

Wellbeing and Stress – this introductory workshop explores the collective effects of stress on wellbeing, identifies the early signs of stress, and provides practical strategies that can assist parents manage their wellbeing.

Five Ways to Wellbeing – this workshop outlines 5 easy ways to increase your child’s wellbeing and psychological health so they can begin to flourish and thrive.

Enhancing Children’s Emotional Wellbeing – this workshop provides parents with strategies and skills they can teach their children to help them develop positive emotional wellbeing, build resilience, confidence and self esteem, and cope with fears, anxiety and worry.

These can be selected as individual workshops or you can choose to combine them as part of a wellbeing program. Workshops are available as one hour or 90 minute sessions and the number of participants are unlimited. The workshops are run on site for your convenience and are available during the day, after hours or on weekends.
